This kit arrived in the mail just today, in duplicate! The scale is not listed on either box or directions. I checked Hobbydb and found this Westborough, Massachusetts firm was in production about 1990, and produced both kits and finished models. The few such listed showed most often the scale of 1/43 buy I also saw 1/50. Here's mine, followed by a catalog sheet (from HDB):
I would appreciate any information, but don't expect a quick building. I'm still involved with that plastic Ford GT (2009 Xin Yu Arts Toys, China). I really like their English interpretation!
Intriguing, David. hobbyDb actually has a listing for them. Click here.

I have the Jeepster, LaSalle Coupe Buick Skylark and Ford Roadster shown in the brochure. The models are crude by todays standards butstill look nice on display. Other than the Ford Roadster, these models are quite heavy.
David, that's the back of my old MTI catalog - everything I found out about MTI and Nostalgic Miniatures I added to hobbyDB! 😎
Karl, once again your hobby DB has helped me out, and once again I thank you.
Small world. From 1972 until 1978 our growing young family lived in Westborough, Massachusetts, a beautiful New England town. Somebody told me about this place called MTI (Miniature Toys Inc.). It was located in the lower level of a building in the center of town. I went in search of the place. There was no sign, just a door with a number signifying the address. The door was unlocked. I went in. Before my eyes were rows and rows of shelves filled with miniature vehicles in boxes. I thought I’d died and gone to heaven. A voice from behind a desk in the back called out, “Sorry, we’re mail order only.” It was the voice of Bob Brennan. We struck up. a conversation and somehow he allowed me to look around and since I lived in town he said I could come by any time. It was at MTI that I saw a Brooklin for the first time. It was the brown Model A Tudor. I wanted it so badly but it was $35. I had five mouths to feed. $35 would almost buy a week’ groceries. From time to time I would find something under $10 or so. Bob was just beginning his Nostalgic Miniatures series. One of his first was a cream colored Divco milk truck. When Bob learned that I was interested in Volkswagens he asked me to help with the details for his first prototyp of a Beetle. I also went with him to Roy Rioux Volkswagen, our local dealer, where he ordered a whole batch of Wiking 1:40 plastic promos of different models of VW’s. We moved to Virginia before he embarked on the Nostslgic Minitures series VW’s. I think they never came to be. After we had moved to Virginia we were going through Westborough one summer and I stopped by to see Bob but MTI was gone. Does anybody know what ever became of Bob? He was a nice guy.
MTI was in the basement of the building near the center of the photo above.

Many thanks for sharing your good memories, David. You have made Bob Brennan and his Nostalgic Miniatures come alive for me. I'll keep on looking for more, too.

Nice memories David. I bought my first Brooklin models from MTI and also the four Nostalgic Miniatures models I have as well.

Karl, that picture is indeed a little spooky. Takes me back almost 50 years! That is Bob Brennan as I remember him. I remember his voice. I remember those shelves. I even remember the sound of the door as you opened it to enter the place. It is a happy trip down Memoty Lane and a small world indeed. It was MTI that got me started living in my 1:43 scale world. It was in Westboro that I built two of my 1:43 scale houses both of which I still have though they have bee remodeled over the years. Yup, that picture brings back many happy memories of our years in Westborough.
