Not my usual build but I have loved woodie wagons since I was almost 13 and the July issue of Car Craft came out. On the cover it said "Wild Woodies and Surf Wagons" and seeing the '31 Ford on the cover and the '29,'39 and '48 Ford in the article, I was hooked. Got my first 1:1 at 16 in 1966 and never looked back. It's been a life long hobby. Here is a rework of the Motor City's USA lines 1939 Ford.
The white top was quite common on surf wagons back in the day in California as was chrome wheels and baby moons. Surf's Up!
I'll be making a small diorama for this car and post that later.

Great color, a real surfers wagon. Make it a litlle rusty around the fenders?
Nice pictures of a great rework. I too love woodies and have many in my collection.
Good one, Curtis. And I like that white top.
It's the most realistic woody I've ever seen.
Love it, outstanding model Curtis.
