I should have mentioned that John. It started out as a Solido 1946/48 Chrysler Windsor 4 door sedan. I turned it into a woodie sedan using different width elastic bands for the frame and simulated wood grain stick ons for the inserts. I understand that in 1946-48 Chrysler Windsor sedan was not offered in woodie trim but I though it would be attractive.

I like your clever rubber band technique.  I've usually used balsa or basswood and veneer for my conversions.  I think Nash did something similar to this sedan
