While this Oldsmobile in 1:1 was never a favorite, I like all of the concept cars as models. This one has been a favorite for many years. I have seen pictures of other versions by Brooklin (red & white, top up; orange & white, towing boat; and the Modelex 1996 version in, I think, two shades of green.) I have none of those. I hope Brooklin will forgive me for the added chrome, and I only hope the statute of limitations has expired. Enjoy!

Very nice. Excellent model. I have one that is detailed as well, but i bought mine that way. A beautiful model. One of Brooklin's older masterpieces.

Pics: David, one of the nicest models was released in June 1998
Came out as a set of three : 1954 Oldsmobile Fiesta convertible, 1955 Speedboat on a trailer.
300 sets were made for the 10th BCC anniversary.
Decal on the trunk with the Brooklin Collectors logo.
The Omen girls are not part of the set.

Jacques, the Fiesta is a 1953. I agree your's is the best especially with the boat and trailer.

The BRK 1953 Olds is one of their best models to detail since you can easily pick one up on the secondary market for under $50. They are fairly easy to detail and look like a model worth 3 times the value when completed. David-you have done a very tidy job on your chroming. I did a scrape and polish on mine as well as interior painting and continental wheel detailing.

Bad news for you David...the statute of limitations doesn't expire for murder, child support, or adding chrome to Brooklins! lol...!!!
