No, not you, John Kuvakis. John Kuliak with a guess of 117 parts. Correct part total is 128.
lowest guess was 13 parts, highest 232 parts.
This contest was done primarily to bring attention to the many parts that comprise a finished model. So we’ve sold most of our models here for a dollar a part.
congratulations, John. Let me know what color Hawk you would like.
John Kuvakis, even though you didn’t guess closest, you’re still a winner. By the way you finished third.

Oh man John Kuvakas, what a heartbreaker....and the other John K. even gets to pick his color! Like Maxwell Smart you "missed it by that much!" I assume Bob J. or myself placed second as we were one vote either side of your guess. Personally I think it was a bit harsh of Tom to phrase the announcement in such a way that for a second you thought it was you but I may just be bitter myself as an "also ran" non-winner. Hey!....but what the heck, if we all can't have fun at someone else's expense then what's all this for? The other John K. is a very nice guy too and I congratulate him wholeheartedly....but i still wish it had been me!!
