I think all of those are older than me. Could it be that some of us on this site are that old? No way. Your Dad didn't have one of those. You're dreamin'.
I've owned lots of 1/1 cars that were older than my self. I'm a 1940 model but my first car was a 1937 Studebaker Dictator sedan. The oldest car I've owned was a 1908 Brush along with a 1911 American, 1933 Pierce Silver Arrow and many others.
Then how do you talk to a car older than you? Not Hello, baby!
All of my cars have been a few years younger than I. And some I wish I still had. So I build and/or collect models. But I still have the same wife so I'm jaded I guess. 53 years and I still like her voice. Most of the time. (She's not in this room right now.)
An amazing collation Ralf - are these favourites perchance?

Bob, I think you just found my problem. I must have no respect for older cars. I think if they are older than me, I just pity them for it. Why would I ever want a car that's been around longer than me? Would it even start? I have trouble starting. But I think that whole philosophy comes from living around Chicago where they all rusted so fast and then my career selling cars which were new at the time. My first car was a hand-me-down 1950 Lincoln Cosmopolitan. What a tank. The Chicago taxis were all afraid of it.
And those cabbies drove Checkers!
Great! Many thanks for this post, for your good photography, and for sharing your magnificent collection with us. Enjoy!
