This is a Ford Crown Victoria from about the 1998-2008 period or so. It's about 1/42 in scale and looks great as one of the ubiquitous and well-regarded Ford police cruisers from that time. I re-did mine to be more of a regular civilian Crown Victoria form with a halo vinyl roof. It is done by Kinsmart.

Was that a complete repaint or were you able to remove the police livery printing?  If so, how?

Repaint or not, at least it's got IL tags on it now!  😎

You too can have a blue ex-cop car from Chicago! 😉

I recall I used non-acetone nail polish remover and the white part came off. The whole car was not re-painted, so it's still a blue Ford sedan. The halo vinyl roof was black painted masking tape which also covered the light bar holes. I think the Kinsmart Ford cost at a local CVS was perhaps $4.99 or $6.99. A pretty good bargain to get a big full-size Ford from that era !

Lol ! Ahhh yes, it is certainly is Chicago, Bob, so they're likely everywhere and they have probably have been covered up on the Crown Vic with appropriate colored tape !
