They are multiplying ! First one, now four ...... I fear that , while we might chalk up the initial appearance as a freak of nature, these new manifestations take on a quite sinister tone ........
Did Chevrolet actually offer this....
color combination in 1959? Or any year for that matter. Or is it the end result of someone's fancy?
I'm trying to picture these colors used on a new Nissan Cube. Nope, can't do it.
A plethora of beauty and taste !

John, how did there ever get to be four of those SBC wagons?
Seeing those four pink and green wagons strikes a tender nerve as I have always thought in my 1:43 scale fantasy mind of that wagon as the Sweet Briar College official car, the college's colors being pink and green. Sweet Briar is a fine women's college in Virginia with, to use Ralf's words, "a plethora of beauty and taste", from which my wife, sister-in-law, and mother-in-law graduated. It was recently announced that the school is closing because of financial problems which is hard for many of us to believe. The news came as a shock to everyone. Now, those wagons have a special meaning.
But John, my curiosity has the best of me, where did four of those cars come from. Is it from some form of mutation? We know the origin of the first.
