Oh, well, that explains it - even I have MANY items I purchased as a teen but only a handful of toys I played with as a kid.
Whew! I feel better about you Harv, for a minute I thought you were some kind of child prodigy who understood the "big picture" thereby recognizing, at a tender age, the sentimental value in ALL things. Lord knows I didn't! 🙄 🙄 😯

@chris But truth be told, I always kept them in their boxes, at least by the time Matchbox arrived on the scene. My parents encouraged this so they would know which to buy for my Christmas stocking!
