This is an older 1/43 diecast from Solido of the 1950 Buick Super. The 1950 Buicks were great-looking automobiles so naturally they make a terrific subject for modeling in any scale.

That's surprisingly good for a Solido.

I think Buick Supers look great even against a plain white background, lol ! (and in any scale also)

Very nice pictures. I noticed King Kong is playing at the theater.

Lol, Mr. Kong would like to see the movie he stars in but he would have to buy 35 seats and he can't fit in the door anyway !

And he’ll probably wipe-out the popcorn concession.
Michael, I especially love pic #4 !!
Thanks.

I liked these Solido models back in the day and they have held up well even today.

...nice looking Buick; I think I have one - I'll have to check. 🙄 🙄 🙄 Nice pics. 😎 I've always loved 1950 Buicks for their toothy grin! 😀 😀 😀

Michael, love the subject and the pics. Oh yes, and King Kong playing at the movie too.

Lol, thanks ! Those late '40's and early '50's Buicks looked like the happiest cars in the world. And, of course, as actress Fay Ray found out, "It was beauty that done killed the beast !"

@michaeldetorrice Exactly....just because braces are worn doesn't mean can't a car can't have a happy face!
