Denis, thanks for posting this picture. This is my favorite color combination that Motor City used on the '51 Chevrolet, but also the most difficult to locate. Blue/gray combinations were quite frequent in that era!

Yes, you are right, this convertible appeals to me even more than the hardtop. Too many attractive models produced in that era are still unreleased!

A relative bargain at just over $100 when it was issued. this one looks like it's had extra Chrome detail.
