PICs 1955 Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty Special from Premiere Models

This is the second model from Premiere Models. (You remember, in one of my older posts, I show you the
first model, a 1970 Fleetwood Series 75).
This one is from withemetal and it cames out in the early nineties. Its a little bit crude, especially the front.
The radiator are much to big and the windshield too small. But I like it anyway. (The MOC grill are too big also....)
I'm curious for the 1954 Fleetwood from Bruce Arnold...

And here all my 1954-1956 (Dagmarbumpers) Cadillac. From left to right:
1955 Series 62 Convertible by Zaugg; 1956 Fleetwwood Sixty Special by Premiere; 1955 Coupe de Ville by Motor City;
1956 Sedan de Ville by Minimarque; 1954 Eldorado by Minimarque; 1955 Fleetwood Sixty Special by Motor City
(The series 75 by MOC are in service today...)

Certainly a collection within a collection.

Dillon, I think every model has his merits. The most accurat in my opinion are the Minimarque Sedan de Ville. But the 55 MOC Fleetwood wins my heart. Not so accurat, but really charming. And my hunt for it was the longest...
The Zaugg are crude, especially the rear are a bit clumsy. But the radiator are wonderful three dimensional execudet.

Cheers
Christoph

PIC - '55 Cadillac S75 & S62 from Motor City USA, Christoph....

Thank you for posting your superb photos. That Premier I understood to be made of resin and very limited production, so when you said white metal I was pleasantly surprised. It looks like a nice model to have in one's collection! I believe Richard Nosker, who also posts on this board may have a '56. Am I right about the year, Richard?

Here's a couple of MCUSA models that I posted a while back. The 2dr is one of 75 in this colour specially made for Bob Hooper's Dominion Models. I had it foil enhanced by Jim Hardin of Proscale Models. The S75 is the detailed, limited edition model from USA models:

Christoph, I agree with your sentiments. Some of my most favorite models are those that are...

More charming than accurate.

I have both a Zaugg '55 Caddy and one by MOC. During a "flight of fancy," I
briefly considered grafting the grille from the Zaugg onto the front end of the
MOC '55 Caddy. However, I couldn't bring myself to destroy two perfectly nice
models.

Thanks again for your pics!

Pic: Nice couple Randall. Great colors. I never saw the 75 in this maroon. Mine is the very dark blue poly version.

I can understand you Dillon. I have the same thinking years ago... But now,

I have one unbuilt kit from Zaugg and I allways thinking what conversion can I do with it...

Great models! It's interesting to see the different grill textures.
