This is an older replica of the 1957 Studebaker Hawk as done by Solido many years ago. The Studebaker Golden and Silver Hawks were good-looking personal luxury cars with strong V-8 engines under the hood and this 1/43 displays that really nicely.

I think I got this Studebaker at one of the Countryside shows some time ago. I also have a 1/18 and another 1/43 diecast model of this era Studebaker Hawk automobile.

They are good-looking automobiles, which naturally make for good replicas ! It is a fine revamp of the 1953 Studebaker and I also feel the version following this one, the Gran Turismo Hawk, was a terrific car, too.
