Pics: 1966 Mustang GT 350 Hertz
For 1966 Ford and Hertz got together and offered rental versions of the Mustang GT 350 available at $17 a day, $.17 a mile. It was good for Ford who gained sales from those trying them out, good for Hertz as it kept these cars busy especially on weekends, and good for those who could not afford to buy these cars yet could still be seen in one from time to time.
Brooklin has done a nice replication of this car in several of the colors originally offered. I treasure these black and white versions with gold stripes given to me by my son David.

I have the black one, and the blue-on-white GT350, never saw the red...
...and gold-on-white.
