Pics: A new arrival came today to add to my woodie family!

Buz's newest woodie offering, a 1958 Ford Country Squire arrived today to join other Country Squires and woodie friends in general. Very nice in Azure Blue and well done. A real family wagon for the time. I chose blue because I have so many shades of green on my wagons of the thirties and forties and this being from the fifties seemed like a good choice to reflect the time period, a nation that was up beat, between wars and full of optimism. Very different from the non colors that are by and large offered today! Today's grays, whites, blacks and silvers are in my mind BORING!

Does anyone know the two woodie offerings Buz is coming out with next month?

Nice woody, Curtis....

I had to do a search on line after seeing this great model. You see, the first car I remember my family having was a '58 Ford wagon. I remember that it was two tone pale yellow and white. So, I looked it up and found what was probably the model that my parents owned back in '59. A 1958 Ford Country Sedan 4dr. Station Wagon. My moms Grocery Getter!

A fine addition! Good choice of colors and an incon of the era.
