Trax 1972 Ford XY Falcon 4WD Ute

Reference number: TR67C

Scale: 1:43rd

Date released: Third quarter 2009

Made in China for Australia

Trax's Ford XY Ute has only been available in the hottest colour available on the real thing - Vermillion Fire. The interior is Light Tan. Ford of Australia made this vehicle in response to demand from rural customers. Unfortunately, it competed with established 4WD vehicles from Jeep, Land-Rover and Toyota. Ford eventually pulled the plug after only 432 vehicles were produced.

In my images I have used the outdoor environment as the background to this rugged model.

Equipment used: Nikon D200, Nikkor 105mm VR macro, Manfrotto tripod fitted with a Gitzo head. On some of the images I used my road atlas as a reflector to lighten the shadows.
