PICS At last...A Neo catalogue and what a catalogue it promises to be.
I do not know how you get one but I'd assume that dealers will be stocking them soon. Jaap van Dijk just received his from the printer and sent along these images that look like they combine the favorite hobby for many of us (sorry, Patty). photo no longer available 😡
Models on a Model .......must be their "Motto"
I'm noticing a trend here today
As usual, they got the colors all wrong . . .
Now, how do I get one of those catalogs?
LOL. Awww, shucks, she should have been Gold! Nice catalog, actually.
Neo catalog
Well I will say that they know their customers.
NEO's
I have recently ordered over a dozen Neo's on ebay..I'm looking forward to getting them....my first one's. My average cost including shipping is in the mid-$60's..you really can't beat the price for the level of detail. It surprises me that before Neo, no other company existed that provided this level of quality in resin fabrication at these price levels in the 1:43 market. What a missed opportunity for those that may have had the wherewithal to start up this type of business venture. I think NEO is doing everything right and creating a product collectors desire.
Hey Harvey, when I read the first line of your post....
I was thinking of the exact same catalog cover! Yup, boys & "Toys."
I have to agree, Walter. After a few start-up bumps, they seem to be firing on all cylinders.
I still wonder if there is any word on a re-paint of the 1958 Impala?
I've been holding off because I don't care for the color or the color scheme.
Was hoping they would offer something else in the way of color for another 1958 Impala....
William - you'd be correct if you had inserted the adjective "American"
Spark (and in some cases Bizarre) have been making extraordinary resin models for some time now. Just not many American, non-competition subjects, though the recent Z28 Camaro is nice from the photos I've seen.
Spark is also cheaper than Neo, amazingly.
Dynamite images ......and it must have been very enjoyable for the photographer, too !
Nothing New
Naked and nearly nude female models to advertise scale model cars is nothing new. Throughout the 1960s, Politoys produced very stylish and suggestive ads for their diecasts.
After paying out for this I hope they have enough left to improve their QC!
