My 2nd Neo, a Jag Mk VIII, had a minor flaw

The chrome scripts are an applique with a hard plastic reverse backer. On mine the backer had not been removed in two spots. It took some very minute pressure with a closed ballpoint pen to make the separation work, an operation i was really sweating. Though I got it done, the trunklid "Jaguar" script keeps popping up on one corner.

Lee, I believe the body-painted ladies are in New Zealand.

It was done in conjunction with World Champion Bodypaint 2010.
There is a calendar as well as the 57 page catalogue.

Harvey ....

Any more pictures like that and I might give up on model cars and start chasing women. Just as soon as I can find some Go Faster wheels for the Zimmer.

By the way, I don't believe the Bugatti on Neo's front cover can possibly be 1:43 or anywhere near. Could you ask the moderator to remove the offending item, please?

Sorry about the Bugatti, the picture is the actual catlaogue cover.

Neo makes 1:18 and 1:87 scale models but 1:43 is their main topic.

Are you sure it left the factory with that fault?

Could the p/e not have detached at a later point? Surely any ire about selling of a below standard model at that price should have been directed at the stall holder who must have seen this fault but attempted to foist the model off on a less than vigilent punter.

Patty, there is nothing on the Neo or AE websites about a second color.

Lee, the model was still in a clear plastic wrapper .....

this is how factory fresh NEO's are supplied.

I have also seen NEO models with poorly ....

positioned photo-etched parts from other dealers. So on this evidence it would
suggest faults from the factory and poor QC on NEO's part.

This isn't just a fault with NEO. Spark and Minichamps resin models also have
issues here with photo-etched parts.
