A little bit of history about this Spanish classic truck. When the new Barreiros Series 200 arrived to the market, Chrysler was the owner of the company, but the trucks retained the label Barreiros. The 4 axles rigid trucks were very common in Spain in the 60s-70s decade as they can carry great loads and pay less taxes than the trailers. Barreiros was the same company that produced under license the Dodge Dart between 1966 and 1970.
The model is made by Ixo but sold under Salvat editions label.

Hi Keko,
what a cool model! I have a soft spot for the Pegaso Cabezon, but the Barreiros will join my other 4-axle trucks...

Hello Ralf!! I also have the Casintra 'Cabezón', a true cracking model. You'll love the Barreiros 4 axle. The #2 of this new collection will be a 3 axle 2 wheel direction Pegaso 'Cabezón'...

Hello Keko!
Wonderful to hear about the new collection - do you know it's name?
So my home-made 6x2 will get a professional companion...
Quick shots from the workbench of my do-it-youself version (flatbed still masked for painting)
I used the Campofrio cab and (...ahem...) a MB LP 333 chassis...
