This era of the Dodge Ram pickup was very good-looking and, of course, really tough in all aspects. Here are a couple of images of the Dodge as done very inexpensively by Kinsmart. It seems to be described on-line as a 1/32, 1/36 or 1/44 scale vehicle. I believe 1/36 is more likely it's actual replica size.

Thanks, Tony ! This Dodge pickup model was inexpensive and I actually came across it while waiting for a prescription to be filled. It cost less than just one of the pills of the prescription...... and is far more enjoyable ! Silly Wink

I always thought Kinsmart could do themselves a favor and appealing to the scale discerning collector market by creating these in accurate 43rd scale. I'd be a buyer, maybe even multiples.  I wonder if it is some licensing issue?

Thanks ! It photographs very nicely.

As for doing these in a particular scale, I think Kinsmart's business model is a bit different due to these factors :

I think that for people saying do this in "exact" 1/43 scale there are others saying, " Do it in 1/64 scale", or "Do it in 1/32 scale" or do it in 1/24 scale", so a particular exact scale is not necessarily a primary issue for Kinsmart.

I think their business model places them in convenience stores or pharmacies or perhaps department stores with a toy section, and various exact-only scales are not the over-riding issue for them. Plus, they need to fit in standard plastic trays that they are coming in and are displayed in a group.

Some are right on or very close to scales like 1/43 or 1/32. Viewed individually or in a photograph, the exact scales are not really an over-riding issue.

I guess the bottom line, as with any replica  if you like it ..... great, go ahead and get it and enjoy it at it's very low price !

A muscular looking vehicle if ever there was one. The moody shots capture this perfectly.
