This is a Mercury diecast replica of the Fiat 128 automobile. I believe it was done in Italy , but it is left-hand drive. I like it a lot and my Dad got this for me probably on a business trip to New York City in the early 1960's.
It has opening doors and a fully sprung suspension on all four wheels as these quick phone camera snaps show. The small diecast model is great and one could see this real car zipping around the Coliseum in Rome or navigating the streets in Torrice, Italy.
