PICs - From My Brooklin Collection: Tucker
I know I have posted this before, but I am off to the Orphan Car Show in Ypsilanti today where there are supposed to be five 1948 Tuckers in attendance, so I thought I would share one more from my collection.

This is Tucker #1026 from the David Cammack Collection.
This car is now at the AACA Museum in Hershey, PA. This is one of three models available at the museum store, the others being #1001 and #1022. I am sitting on the Jersey Turnpike (Jeannie's driving) on our way to Martha's Vineyad. My David Cammack Tuckers are packed in the back. There probably never before has been a Tucker on the Vineyard. My Tucker Convention begins Monday afternoon. Will post pictures. Great pictures, John, of your model of #1026.

John, I have read of the Orphan Car show as one of the greats. Please share some details when you have time. The orphans make up a large (major?) part of my collection.

Yes it is a great show. The largest show that exhibits the Orphan Makes.
They changed the rules a little a few years ago so instead of just Hudson, Kaiser-Frazer, Packard, Studebaker, Nash, DeSoto & others. It now includes Plymouth, Mercury, Imperial, Oldsmobile, Pontiac and a few more. There are usually a lot of cars that are both unusual and unique. Not a Camaro, Mustang or Corvette in sight. LOL!
Occasionally we get A Duesenberg, Pierce-Arrow, Auburn, Cord and other great makes.
I took over 1500 photos, uploading now, so I will how see how well I captured them soon.
