a favorite of mine, 1942 Oldsmobile

There have been quite a few pictures of 1942 Oldsmobile models, all so far, by Brooklin. I really do like 1942 Oldsmobiles, and I have a lot of memorabilia for this car, such as an original Dealer Album, Salesman's Data Book, sales literature, including an Accessory brochure, sun visor mirror, postcards, all 3 models, which includes the Newbank Series 66 Special Convertible in Maroon. I'll post a photo of this car, since no one has at this point. In the meantime here are my 3 Original Showroom Posters of the Series 98 models. A set was issued to each dealer every year. They are very rare, because they were thrown out to make way for the new ones the next year.

Very cool pictures. It is a car I have learned to appeciate the style.

To be honest, I had never paid much attention to them before, and until recently, I and never seen a 1:1. I bought the 1st '42 Olds from Brooklin because it look interesting, I really liked what I saw, so added the other two as well. They are very special.
Thanks Raymond for sharing those pictures, what a treasure to have.
