I agree on the wood Harvey. Hoping the new release corrects what otherwise is a beautiful model.

What i appreciate of this model it is even with the lots of details and pieces, all the parts stay in place particularly the rack that i was not sure. There are no parts in a small bag i like that. The color of the wood panels don't bother me a lot contrary on those on the first 1954 Mercury Monterey four-door station wagon.

Perhaps for you Michel. But mine arrived with a dislodged roof rack.
It took a bit of careful work to not only get it back on but get it aligned perfectly.

I would very possibly have spent my turn on this one with the older boxes.
Fortunately, until now i have been fortunate with my purchases.
