My Aunt Margaret who lived in Salem, Massachusetts had one of these.

I believe it was this color as well. A childhood memory is that of seeing that beautiful car parked in the circular driveway in front of their house. Beautiful model, John as are the other two.

Have had this beautiful model for at least 5 years, one of my favorite post-war oldies, which include '48 Pontiac, '49 De Soto, '49 Buick, '50 Pontiac, which I also have! Would not let them go for anything in the world!

And for a more common '49, there's the 4 door sedan as announced by NEO. This time in blue rather than the earlier black. For some reason it is mislabeled as a '45 when it should be a '49.

John, it now occurs to me what you are refering to, although it has taken me some time. Can't understand that mistake, since there were no 1945 models. I identified that Chrysler as being a 1949 Model, due to that special shape of tail lights which the 1949 De Soto also had!
