Apricot is included as a 1956 color choice on Home Town Buick.
IMO the color of John's posted example is coral. When I mess about with the color configurator for this car on Home Town Buick it is much closer to coral than apricot. Lighting is so critical in showing picture color examples; there is a difference in lightness even between John's pics. I have this model en route so I will comment further when I receive it.

I should mention; to use this configurator; google Home Town Buick; click on 1956 Buick; then click on Research; then click on configurator. Its great to mix and match colors.

Pics: It’s all in the lighting I think. It looks like Tahiti Coral to me.
photo no longer available
Photos of mine look more apricot than the model that matches the Tahiti Coral yet the actual model seems to be a good match. It looks close to the above.
