PICs - From My Collection - '57 Chevrolet brand new from Brooklin Models
1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Hardtop Sport Sedan

These newer Brooklin models are amazing. Nice one, John.
The BRK website calls the color "copper red", so we got screwed out of Sierra Gold.
The overly red hues are apparent in John's photos. I had high hopes for this one. Along with all the pink cars, BRK seems to be throwing accurate colors out the window lately.
I don't think Brooklin is throwing accurate colors out the window lately, Harv, but I am sorry to see that what we hoped would be a lovely Sierra Gold and Adobe Beige model is off.
The pink collection isn't an effort to replicate the colors accurately, but is a fantasy series of cars in various shades of pinks never seen on the 1:1 cars. I have no objection to them since they haven't been touted as accurate colors.
The Chevy is disappointing though, since the bronze (gold) and beige was such an iconic color combination for Chevy in the late '50s.
Let's hope the Buick tri-tone is accurate Rick.
This color is nothing ike any '57 Chevrolet color, a real disappointment. But on another note, I can't get over the roof line. It raises in the back.

Well I am very very pleased with it. I love the color, love the model. Thank- you Brooklin!

John, I guess all that really matters is that the buyer is happy with it. I haven't seen any good photos of the interior. Could you take a couple of pics showing the seats and dashboard and post them? Does the interior match the exterior colors, or are they contrasting colors, or what?
Thanks!
John - What does the box say the color is? The website does not call this Sierra Gold.
The description on the box is Sierra Gold Poly.
I wonder why the website doesn't say that. It would be nice to see more photos in case the lighting on John's photos shows an inaccurate color.
John, you are probably familiar with the actual colors on the real car; is the model color accurate to the original in your opinion. We are aware that lighting can play tricks sometimes, so maybe you have a better perspective?
OK, once again I have caused controversy with my photos.
Which of course is not my intention.
First, here is a photo I just took right from my camera, nothing done at all but cropping.
You can see that it is darker than my first photos
Here is a photo of a FM '56 Bel Air is Sierra Gold.
So it seems that I owe everyone an apology. My posted photos are lighter than they should be, funny thing, these are from Flickr which seems to have lightened them, cause the ones from my computer aren't as light, but still lighter.
I like the Brooklin model very much. but it does seem to be redder than it should be, more of a copper tone, but I don't have access to the '56 Bel Air right now to compare. With that-internet photos are all over the board in color range. So you be the judge.
So, once again I caused an issue with my photo processing software, Sorry. In the future I will have to be more careful, or stop posting photos.
