I like the fact that you and your brother......

collaborate on these highly detailed and complicated builds. Someone close to you with the same interests and talent. How did this come about, that you both have the same desire to build these very professional models. Am I right in my observation, because it is rare for two brothers to have the skill necessary to create these superb scale models.

Twins tend to be a lot closer and share the same interests

Ray you put into words what I have wondered about for some time with the Reed brothers and their mutual interest and talents. My brother and I are 15 months apart and light years apart in our interests. I've always been amazed how two people could be so different and yet raised by the same parents under the same roof.

Hi Cliff, your description and pics were a pleasure to read 'n see...BUT..the pic of your models with the watch knocked the breath out of me ! All the other pics did not reveal the sense of scale in the craftsmanship involved in the making of these models. Wow !

Bob, don't feel bad, you are not alone.....

I have two sons, who are great family men, and have always been wonderful to me and my wife, when she was living.
When they were growing up, they went to car shows, flea markets, car club picnics, were introduced to models, automobile literature, and collectibles. Hundreds of hardbound auto history books, and me talking cars each and every day. I even have a small museum of memorabilia,
No interest at all, other than present day cars, that they use for transportation. Just not interested in old cars. I got over it long ago. Even my one grandson is just mildly interested in cars. No one but me. Thank God for my friends.
Trouble is, none live close by, so we have to burn up the phone lines.

Ray take comfort in knowing you and your late wife raised two fine family men who are a credit to society. My brother is a terrific guy and family man. Ironically his son, my nephew, likes cars but since he lives 500 miles from me he doesn't get the influence he needs to appreciate cars like we do.
