PICS. Its another Marmite Moment and just in case you chaps on the western side of the Atlantic, or indeed anywhere else in the world beyond the shores of dear old Blighty, are wondering what a Marmite Moment is, its to do with a unique British delicacy called Marmite. It is made from yeast extract, a by-product of beer brewing. and is a sticky, dark brown food paste with a distinctive, powerful flavour, which is extremely salty. This means you either love it or hate it, according to the company's advertisng slogan.
That's the educational bit over. Now for the model.

Is there a "Vegemite Moment" Down Under?
Ideal period Cadillac color!
Back in my kidhood our neighbor had one in that color. Mom thought the color was foul, calling it "Burple". Brooklin nails that Sienna Rose Poly.
I dunno.....
either tire/wheels are too big or perhaps it rides a little too high or maybe a combination of the two. Otherwise, it looks great.
It's one of those odd models that look better in the tin than in a photo...nomatter who has wielded the camera. Anyway, it's the last variant from Brooklin. Now, look out for the Wildcat...test castings have been done and I think it looks great!
I would agree John.
There are certain features on this model which are accentuated by the photos, whereas in real life, the emphasis is no where like as on the photos.
Definitely looking forward to the Buick
Looking at the side view of the model, I think it sits to high in the back and the style line coming from the front fender is not crisp and straight as it is on the picture of the real car. The color looks right on the money.
Despite the flaws, this still looks like a 1960 Cadillac to me and therefore will be a part of my collection.

I agree. It looks very "Cadillacc" to me and I will look forward to having mine.
The color is perfect. The overall effect looks very good to me. Somehow, it looks to me like it's the best of the three variations of this model. Thanks, Mike for the great pictures, and John, your comments about photos is probably very true.

Is that a Brooklin? It looks too thin a roof for Brooklin.
OK, so the upper fin line isn't quite right but..
with a little bit of foil on the fin caps it WILL look a lot better. Once I've photographed my review sample I'll do that and post a photo.
Wayne
It most certainly is Peter.
