PICS More on the very worthwhile WMTC charity auction from JR.

Hello Everyone!
It's that time of the year again and our famous WMTC Charity Auction which this year is being held in aid of our local branch of the Altzheimers Association. Once again Nigel and Brooklin Models have been most generous and we have two one-off Brooklins for our Charity Auction Night which takes place on Tuesday 4th December at our usual venue, the Farmhouse Inn at Southwick, Trowbridge.
Among many items I'm sure these two Brooklins will be of interest to Brooklin Collectors. One is the 1947 Chevrolet Sedan Delivery in light chocolate brown with green wheels and full decals. Only two colour trials were made of this model and the other wasn't completed.
The second one is the 1955 Chrysler Windsor Town and Country Station Wagon in a darkish lilac with white roof, quite different from the standard colour. Both models are mint and boxed, of course, with the box ends being signed and detailed by Nigel Parker. I'm attaching photos to this email, one of which shows the unique colour of the Chrysler compared with a standard one.
As is usual practice, if you wish to place bids on either or both these models please email them to me BEFORE Tuesday 4th December. If you wish someone to bid for you on the night, either with a top limit or by telephone, I can arrange this. If you are able to come along in person you would be most welcome...it's a great night as all those who have been in the past will testify.
If you have any questions about these models please let me know. I can't tell you what else will be there as I don't know myself yet. Many items appear on the night. I am donating a couple of specially refinished models, one of which will be a British car which is not yet available but will be by January. I'm going to start work on these as soon as I've sent you this email!
Best regards as always, John Roberts

Isn't the Chrysler shown the standard one? It doesn't look "darkish-lilac."

Of course, it could be my monitor but it appears to be a pic of the standard
Canyon Tan car.

Thanks! That does help to show the difference. I like them both!
