PICS NEO Jaguar S-Type 3.4
Looking rather splendid in its shiny black colour scheme is this latest version of NEO's S-Type. Interior is pale tan with a wood effect dash and door cappings. Etched window surrounds on all four sides, plus body and bonnet trim and etched wipers. Head lights and secondary ligths have lens. Complete with wing mirrors and rear view mirror. The S-Type rides on fine wire wheels.

Looks like a good model of a special car. The S was, I think, the finest and final cultimation of the Mark II of the early 1060's. I owned one for a short while; great fun but poor electrics. There was one featured on a British TV show, but it escapes my memory right now.
Been driving one for 54 years and enjoyed it all

I think Neo's first version was primrose yellow - wish I had bought that one.
Beautiful car John. I've always loved these sedans.
I have to get that model... I miss my MK 9 and ....(pic) think of it often. Circumstances at the time made me offer it for sale, but I regret it now. Pic enclosed

1961 Jaguar MK 9 Saloon BRG
Mk IXs have been made by Oxford, Gems & Cobwebs/Milestone, and (I think) Neo.
Here's Neo's Mk. VIII. Hmm - I need to take a newer in-focus pic.

That had to be tough getting rid of that beauty Ray.
I owned a '72 XKE. One of my happiest days was the day I go it.
One of my second happiest days was the day I sold it ;o)

Mine is a gem in light blue/ red seats. The TV series was "Inspector Morse"
A friend of mine was selling an E-Type a couple years ago.
Some one asked why. His answer was "Because right now everything is working". Best time to sell an E-Type.
harvey , your friend was right. A Jaguar of that time is like having a boat
The Jaguar on the Morse TV series was a 3.4 Mk11 rather than an S Type.
For some reason it had an awful non-stock vinyl top. At the beginning of the series actor John Thaw, who played Morse, couldn't drive so the car had to be pushed into shot without the 'pushers' being seen.
Now I remember it! I think I had one made by Corgi. If I still have, it's packed away in the storage area.
Same here. Gorgeous car, John.
