Hmm,

I was under the assumption that the '69 TA was available in only two colors.

White with blue striping and blue with white striping. I guess I have to do more research.

The same for the 1970 trans am or I should say 70 and a half with the new body style which was delayed because GM had a strike in late '69 so the 70s weren't available until I think February of 70 so they were documented as 70 and 1/2.

The trans am I bought in 74 as a 70 and a half was red with white extractors on the fenders and a white hood scoop now I was told or led to believe that the 70 and a half was available only in the colors as the 69 white with blue stripes blue with white stripes.

The '69 T/A was available only in Cameo White. They made only 697 of them. 8 Were convertibles. The '70 model was available in two colors, white w/blue stripes, and blue w/white stripes.

The YM 1/18th I have is in a bright orange with black stripes. Perhaps some of these are of "what-ifs" or currently restored cars or special color options that could possibly have been ordered.

I've seen other colors before. Most were clones.

I wish I had the VIN for the TA I had !

I tried with the California DMV but they didn't keep records from back then.  🙁
