PICS Two lovely contributions from Mo Brown...

Mo, for those of you who don't know him, is the Models & Meeting Secretary of the Brooklin Collectors Club. Mo's 10-year old son bought a diorama of a road. Pictures were then taken with various Brooklin models. These two are with two of the Holy Grails of Brooklin collecting, the Silver Buick (1 of 20 for the 20th anniversary celebration in Bath in 1994) and the Green Shelby (1 of 200 but far rarer than that would indicate as most of them went as gifts to non-collectors and likely were not saved).

Silver Buick

As the Buick has broken down in the (excellant) photo would this effect its value.

God i hope not John !!!!!!!!!!!!

As you know i've lost most of my limbs paying for them, and if my wife had her way she'd remove other bits as well.
Elliott and i have had brilliant fun with this foot square piece of resin, the fence, river and reeds in the water are ace.
the future now is to build a large diorama about 6' x 2' to go in the bottom of an old antique shop counter that i have in my garage. The Diorama you see was bought at a swapmeet in Windsor for ?27 including a GT40 and an AC Cobra but on the bottom is stamped diopitlane.com were they have lots to choose from, but sadly aren't very big.
If anyone want to see more pics, i have lots including more rare Brk's, so let me know and i'll send some to you, or if you pester Dick enough he may post some more.

Can i echo JR's comments, Thanks to Dick for posting them for me.

Cheers Mo..

Two great scenes enhanced by Omen Miniatures ....

figures! Amazing use of the other props also to create these dioramas.

Mo does your lad like Warhammer figures? If he does he might like to know that the stores in the UK have special modelling events to make scenary and to paint figures. They also produce two great books. One on dioramas and the other on painting. I have them both and they have been inspirational in providing ideas for modelling/painting techniques.

Cheers Chris
