Pink Collection, Black Collection, or ... ?

I would like to have your opinion on color collections. Brooklin has recently made a Pink Collection, how did you like it? What if they would make a Black Collection, a Blue Collection, a Fancy Color collection or...?

I have the Pink Collection in hand. The detail and finish is amazing...

particularly, the interior detail on the '65 Chevy.

I have the Pink Collection and I am very pleased with it.

The models are a good choice and the details are excellent.
I would be open to other collections as long as the models and colors made sense for the collection done.

although I have always liked Brooklin-models, these days I get the feeling they are out to empty your wallets?.

I would support this idea if the models selected to be done had it as a stock factory color. The selected color would be done in various shades correctly befitting each model car done. Personally the pink 65 Impala recently done as one-third of the BRK pink set slowed me as it was not an original color done that year by GM....just my personal hang-up. Generally a great idea though; especially if the three models selected were all from the same car company. As an example, one trio that would interest me would be the Brooklin Buick '54 wagon, '55 2dr.sedan & '56 4drht (upcoming soon). Color preference would be 2-tone blue or blue & white for each. My 2 cents worth!

Respectfully, I see it differently Joop. IMO more choice is better. The more colors each model is offered in gives the collector the ability to not have to go with a color he is not that excited about. IMO the only time it would be a negative "cash grab" feeling is when the collector is a "completist" who must have every Brooklin produced. I know there are some of those out there....lol.

Actually Joop Brooklin are trying to make a profit...

which is a lot smaller than might be imagined. For years the company operated at only slightly above cost in an effort to keep prices down. So, far from trying to empty wallets the company is endeavouring to survive. Also, as has been said for every model by every maker featured on this and other forums, there is no obligation to buy any of them!
