Two different interpretations really make me wonder. My first thought was that the Champion was the low end Studebaker and the Commander was the upper, so maybe that explains this difference. But a little research suggests that both had the same 197.5 inch length and probably shared major body components.
Then I found a picture:
This is the 1951 version. I think the side view looks more like the blue Brooklin. Well, that's my vote.

It's hard to know for sure without measuring both to see which one is more accurate.

Just a little rectification,the blue is a Yatming model made in China not a Brooklin,sorry.
