Precision Miniatures '53 Lincoln Capri- Mission accomplished. (pics)

I returned today (while working with an Alfa) to my black paint, and so I finished up the detailing of the PM '53 Lincoln Capri. It was a topic here a few days ago, and esteemed member Christopher Moroni dug into his childhood memories and told us that PM missed the color on the steering wheel. It should have been black. As best I could, I confirmed his memories (except maybe in some convertibles), and here are the results:

As PM finished it:

And now:

So now this fine old model goes back to its display area:

And I can get back to an item of world importance!

Enjoy the day!

Thanks for the kudos David but my "childhood memories" have nothing to do with it. I purchased....

...my 1954 Lincolns as collector cars (I've since sold them). Your black steering wheel looks great but I hate it! As I hated ALL black Lincoln steering wheels; white looks so much nicer.

But...accuracy has to be replicated and NOW your Capri looks "period correct." ?.and I hate it! LoL!
