Great images, Richard. Both models are very well done.

@nickies how good is it to see it driven? Wouldn't have love to have seen it really let loose on the open road but probably too risky. One of my first diecasts 30+ years ago was FMs 1/24. Thanks Richard

@geoff-jowett I know what you mean..... just the sound of the engine must be beyond belief at full throttle.

I lived in Vegas for 20 years before retirement and The Franklin Mint Shop was at the Upper Garage of the Imperial Palace Casino.  i think this particular Duesenberg was on display with many others.

Just an anecdote about the FM shop ...... because of the location in a museum, it became not as much friendly to go pick up a new order without escort. The shop manager had to come at the gate.

My last "big" pick up order was the 1/12 427 Corvette Roadster. I am wondering if anybody remember this one.

Very nice, but I was fooled for a minute.   I was about to mention how I saw and stood near the real "Twenty Grand"  last summer .....  until I realized that your Duesenberg is NOT that car, although it's still very impressive!

Nice pics & replicas Rich.  👍 👍

@chris They look similar because both were built by Rollston.
