Progress on the 1948 Buick Estate wagon Brooklin

Hello

when I presented my project improvements of these models, some of you have asked me to share the progress of work.

The work is very long but it beforehand.

Wood trim are finished (two coats of paint and a layer of satin varnish (exterior and int?rior)

I complicated my work paints manufacturer in different shades for exterior woodwork.
the yellow Buick gets darker tones look best with the color of its body

The floors of bodywork and car trunk were covered with two layers of paint, it remains to lay the satin varnish layer.

Mounting holes to put the door handles and window cranks are made.

The next step is painting two-tone seats.

Very interesting and thanks for sharing your progress.

I look forward to seeing these as they move along in the process. I think I am more partial to the yellow one, it should look fantastic when completed.

Good work! I also have both models and could not decide...

the color for the wood on the pale one.
Now it's clear for me - many thanks, Jacques!
