Purchased Brooklin 82, '59 DeSoto Adventurer coupe in black. Should the roof be flat-black?...1 PIC.

Yes. Semi flat paint is correct.

Yep--that's how the roof on the Adventurer hardtop was.

The last 60 models produced had a slightly different finish to the roof which was matt rather than satin black. Also separate chrome wipers and door handles.
