The original Motor City is long gone. The company was briefly resurrected but did not last.

There is no parts source unless you get lucky and find someone here who has some.

Motor City was made in North Hollywood, Ca. Bob Hooper at

Dominion Models in Virginia has some of the decals and parts for these models.
I have gotten the Bel Air scripts from him in the past.

You might also try Gene Perrill.

He was connected to MOC back in the day although that doesn't mean he has what you need.

I seriously doubt Gene Parrill has anything. He was out of MOC long before it ended.

RE:Motor City

Some Motor Citys were cast by other companies.Like Western did a 39 Ford Woody for them and the 55 Mercurys. The resin bodied cars were outsourced as well. Some of the Chevys had photo-etch scripts and some had decals.I have one photo-etched script but not sure which side .I also have the Belair scripts in decals.I have a lot of Motor city Parts but not all the common ones needed like Packard Hood Ornaments, etc.

Have to agree with the Moderator on this, Denis. Gene is unlikely to have what you are looking for as he left MCUSA long before these models were issued. I think he sold off many of his personal MCUSA collection and now is large in the 1:1 hobby, judging cars in competitions etc.

Better sources for parts are Gregory Gunn (see below) and Bob Hooper of Dominion Models.
