"P" Models, being Peter Ottenheimer follow-up -pic
I thought that name sounded familiar, from the Aug 8 post down below...
I got this Ralstoy (USA) 1:36-ith van many years ago in Zurich!!!

Ralstoy toys were made in Ralston, Nebraska, a suburb south of Omaha.
When I lived in Omaha (1974-76) and worked for Insurance Services Office I did a municipal grading survey for the town, a task which sets the fire insurance classification. I don't recall any toys were in the shops there, but obviously they were still in production since P Models was in business about then.

Interesting, Karl. I just bought a second "P Model" and am awaiting its arrival. It's the 1931 Maybach Zeppelin Unbuilt White Metal Kit 1/43 scale by P Models. When it arrives, I will post a picture of the kit.
As I was writing this, I remembered something atop a display case out in the hall. Chalk one up for me!

Don't recall. I mainly worked with the fire chief.
Ralston had two Howe Defender fire pumpers that were already about 15 years old. Very old school, they were of an open cab design. Wouldn't want to have ridden in one during an Omaha winter!
