one and what are you thoughts? I think this was an exceptional year for Cadillac styling. I'd like one of the blue models.
The 1962 Caddy is my fave of that decade by far. I'm waiting for the Coupe De Ville.
Hi Mark,
I purchased one after debating long and hard on the colour. I really like the turquoise, but in the end, I went for the gold. Overall I feel it's a nice model.
I really hope they issue a Sixty Special as that is one of my favourite body styles for 1962 with the convertible creases in the rear roof line.
Cheers!
Alfred
I've had one on order for two months. When was it released? My favorite post war Cadillac.
hi @bob-jackman,
I purchased it from Asia at the end of November and it arrived on the West Coast of Canada middle of January. When I bought it, I had seen some photos on the French forums and those photos solidified my colour decision.
They were posted end of October so the car has been out for a while. Scroll down about 3/4 and you will see some really nice photos of the gold one.

For anyone who is a Cadillac fan, the above is a great forum. Lot's of fantastic photos by the members.
Cheers!
Alfred
Alfred,
Thanks so much for the pictures. The gold looks outstanding in them. Now I have to rethink my color choice!

Mark, I have the turquoise version of the 'Sedan DeVille' The '62 Cadillac is also on of my favorite years. It is a great model, zero issues as to authenticity or execution, quite a beautiful piece. The whitewalls are a bit too wide for the year, only minor distraction. The trim bits are quite fragile... best left in the showcase.
Thanks for the information Alfred. I have the gold one on order and hope to receive it soon.
- @stanton-lyman. Thanks, Stanton. I'm partial to blue but maybe I should get both colors!
I've been waiting foe Legacy to get it, because I was concerned that those early offerings were issued before the corrected version
@alfredgee Here's hoping for that "62 Sixty Special/ Fleetwood! Or even a 1961. There aren't any 61s in our scale.
