Regarding finding old posts......
A couple of weeks ago, I posted a question regarding this subject to John Kuvakas. Because it was so far down the line in posts, he never answered me, because he never saw it,
My suggestion was this. Is it possible to click on a red star at the beginning of the post, like my mail. I click on the posts I want to refer back to, and can easily find them.
Can this feature be added to our Forum posts. I'm not very computer savvy, so I don't know how it could be done, but John, or Legacy may know how to accomplish this.
Just a thought and idea. Don't know the feasibility.

We don't have that functionality right now.
If we can migrate to a new site, some of these problems will go away. For now, the best thing you can do if, you would like to save favorite sites or posts, would be to copy the URL in the box near the top of your screen and store those either in a shortcut on your browser toolbar or in a document in your files. I know that's not as easy as it sounds but we don't have many alternatives.
You can also use Karl's way by entering Cntrl-F which will open up a keyword search toward the top of your screen. Then you can up a word in there that will search recent entries on that page.
If anyone has an easier way, please post it here.

That's 2 different questions really. 1: ...
1. If you want to save that post for later reference, just copy the url as John suggests to an xls or word file:

2. If you want to search for some topic. Pick your keywords and:
a. CTRL-F for very recent posts
b. google search with the site:diecast.org search term as I described below.
