First appearing at the 1964 NY World's Fair as the GM-X, by 1969 GM figured it was worth revamping as a Pontiac and making the show circuit again. Very informative article here: https://www.motortrend.com/features/hppp-0310-1969-pontiac-cirrus/

@mg-harv The red one does not have the distinctive nose cone as it appears in those show car photos. However, I do notice a subtle difference in the lights on the front fins. The silver one has a wider lens than the red... or so it seems to my eyes.
