Reviving a Minimarque '34 Packard Speedster (PICs)

I saw it pictured on the best known auction site, and it looked like a forgotten great. I couldn't resist.

Some parts came with it, others showed up in my junk packets, and an old friend from up in my display shelves came down for inspiration. Just rebuilding the white wall tires was a good start.

And last night I parked the siblings together.

Now where did I put that shelf-stretcher!!

Your enjoyment of this hobby is an inspiration to us all. And I just hope it will solve my drinking problem. Here's to you! Gulp. Ahh.

Beautiful restoration, David. There is something very satisfying bringing an old model back to life.

You have done a beautiful job on this Packard. I admire your courage in using Gorilla Glue even with a fine tip and it did the job. Very interesting post. Thanks for sharing your success story with us.
