@jack-dodds, sounds like fun! What types of games do the grapefruits play? How do they move around?

I wondered the same thing John. But it is a special part of the Major League to play normal baseball rules but only WITH a grapefruit. It started long ago. Here's a shot of Ted Williams practicing. Don't know who is next to him with more grapefruit volunteers.

@perrone1 That's it Tony.  Back in the days of the Women's MLB they of course played with pink grapefruit....a bit of trivia for you.

@perrone1 This aspect of baseball has lost popularity in recent years as the infielders always complain that the grounders are too tough to handle.

You're hoping for something like this perhaps?

Debi gave me the thumbs up. But this time I have to kennel a dog.

I hear that they're quite a "fruity" bunch and when they have some Vodka the whole team goes "bananas". Orange you know it..

I think I would be inclined to bunt and prevent making a mess.

It would be "the pits" to be the back catcher in this league....no thanks.
