I just bought one of the Triumph TR250s that have shown up on ebay.  Not sure if this model is new or if I have just discovered it; a bit pricey but it is nicely done IMHO.  Two versions:

Thanks Jack. I've got to find one of these.

Same here - I have a Triumph gap after the TR3 and Spitfire.

Yes this model is glaringly missing in 1:43; so I was glad to snag one.  Now I wish Schuco or Minichamps would do a high quality MGA roadster and coupe; which is also glaringly missing at their price range and quality level.  All I can find is the older issue Corgi/Vanguards (decent enough but poorly done wheels), which I have two of, or extremely expensive alternatives which I can't afford and wouldn't spring for if I could.  The MG Midget from the early 60s is fairly hard to find at this quality/price level too; same goes for the TF.

@jack-dodds Neo made the TF, Ebbro did a nice Midget Mk. II (despite the packaging which stated Mk. I), and Spark made a nice Midget Mk. III. Bizarre has made a few racing MGAs over the years but I'm not sure if they did a road car. If you go a ways back, Abingdon Classics/Ace/K&R did all manner of MGA 1500/1600/Twincam models.

Thanks very much Harv.  I was aware of the Abingdon line but they are fairly expensive.  I will check out the others though!

Long ago Tekno did an MGA coupe.  Mine's iris blue, cream interior.   Good model for a 35+ year old diecast.   Paid a pretty good amount, $55, at a toy show back in 1987.

@john-quilter Worth a bit more now I'd say. I have two - blue and red. There are several other colors.

Nice!  You don't see these around very often.
