I liked the International Scout, and this was, I think, the first version made by Matchbox Yesteryear.  I also like how Matchbox portrayed the underside.  Oh yes, the other scouts are out of scale but look good!

John, I had to look up the second version.  Boy, did I find some wild paint jobs!  Here's the one I would like to see in 1/43:

There is a family connection to one of these things though I had no affinity to it at all.  My late sister drove this bone stock two wheel drive Scout for 40+ years.  Abysmal driving vehicle with an emission strangled AMC six cylinder engine but it did last in the brutal driving conditions of San Francisco.  She was anti automobile and this was the most anti automobile thing she could find.
