@charles-rockett Charles, I do believe these two-tones did really exist.  I recall that the sister of one of our neighbors had a two door hardtop (like the turquoise and white shown in your picture), but done in black and white.  It was quite stunning.  My Dad had a '59 blue "flat top" Buick but I always thought the two door done in black and white was much nicer looking.

Thanks for this confirmation.  It is strange that after years of looking through books and on-line, I've never seen one, and then a whole raft of them suddenly appear! The division of the colours works well and I'm surprised we don't see more of them.
