Three 1956 Lincolns,  a sedan by Madison, a yellow hardtop by Brooklin,  and another hardtop by GFCC which will in time become a convertible giving me the full range of Lincoln bodies for this year.

I have the red Brooklin convertible, and it's one of my favorites.

@ed-glorius  My red Lincoln convertible is a 1955 Lincoln Capri by Western Models.

My light green '56 convertible top down is by Madison.  It's a nice one and would look good with yours, John.

Hey!  Our pictures are back!!  If I had known that, I would have taken a better one.

@d-m-holcombe  Yes, but sawing the roof off the quite accurate $20.00 GFCC will save me well better than $100 for other acquisitions!  😀

I have the red BRK as well and agree...it's a beauty!

John, When converting the GFCC to a convertible be sure to eliminate the rear fender A/C scoops as A/C was not available on the convertible.

@bob-jackman Yes, I am aware of that but in order to save the nice turquoise paint I am going to have to employ "modeler's license" and leave them on.   Only real expert Lincoln fans students would know they are not correct for a convertible.   Meanwhile,  i am building a 1928 Lincoln sedan from a RIO sport phaeton.   In process photos below.  This website gives details:
